In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has broken out from laboratories to become part of our everyday life, and medicine and health care represent no exception. Radiological images are an attractive source of data for AI algorithms which typically need a great amount of information to be developed and work properly. In the past decade, several studies have been published about the possible application of AI in diagnostic radiology, but few have made out from research to be integrated into a clinical workflow; the translation of AI from laboratory to practice in Interventional Radiology (IR) might represent an even harder task. …
