The proximal humerus is not an uncommon location for primary bone tumors in children and accounts for 10–15% of all primary malignant bone tumors [
1]. With the advent of multimodal management and better imaging techniques, good survival can be expected [
1]. The reconstructive technique should (a) provide long-term stability, (b) allow for early initiation of elbow and hand function, and (c) restore limb length.
