Zusammenfassung

Die Einnahme von Medikamenten unter sportlicher Belastung ist nicht frei von Risiken. Eine gesteigerte körperliche Aktivität führt zu veränderten physiologischen Anpassungen. Diese wiederum können Einfluss auf die Pharmakokinetik von Medikamenten nehmen und somit entweder zu einem Wirkverringerung oder einem gesteigerten Auftreten von Nebenwirkungen beitragen. Die adäquate Beratung der Sporttreibenden kann in einer Vielzahl der Fälle ein solches Risiko vermeiden. Wichtig ist es daher, einen verständlichen Überblick über die am häufigsten angewendeten Medikamentengruppen und deren potenzielle Interaktionen zu ermöglichen. Diesem Ziel ist Kapitel 26 gewidmet.
