17. Rehabilitation bei Wirbelsäulenstörungen

Zusammenfassung

Ziele der physikalisch-medizinischen (inklusive der lokalen Infiltration und manualmedizinischen Behandlungen), physio- und trainingstherapeutischen Maßnahmen bei Wirbelsäulenbeschwerden sind Schmerzreduktion, Wiederherstellung der physiologischen sensomotorischen Kontrolle und der normalen funktionellen Bewegungsabläufe. Neben der medikamentösen Analgesie und bei Bedarf antidepressiven und muskelrelaxierenden Therapie kann die Behandlung der Wirbelsäulenbeschwerden mit verschiedenen physikalisch medizinischen Therapien unterstützt werden. Dazu zählen transkutane elektrische Nervenstimulation (TENS), Biofeedback-Therapie, Ultraschalltherapie, Kryotherapie, Massagen und Balneotherapie.
